We provide all the safety gear you need, including sturdy coveralls, face shield, gloves, and boots. You can skip the jumpsuit by dressing in long sleeves and long pants. You can skip the boots by wearing a pair of sturdy shoes with thick soles.
We love donations. From bottles and dishes, to monitors and keyboards, to washers, dryers, and stoves. The items we cannot accept include light bulbs, microwaves, refrigerators, single pane glass items, anything with chemicals or refrigerant.
Yes! We love to host fundraisers! A fundraiser at Breakthrough can be a welcome change to the usual bake sale or car wash! We can host in-person fund raisers or virtual fund raisers. Just call us or shoot us an email.

Absolutely! While we do not offer a specific BYOS package, you may bring in your own smashables, up to 1 crate per person, in addition to the crate of smashables that we provide you. A smash crew member will do a safety inspection of your smashables prior to approving them for smashing. Essentially, they are ensuring that no items have hazardous chemicals, contain liquid, or are generally unsafe to smash.
You may bring in up to 1 additional crate of smashables at no additional charge. A crate is about 12”x12”x12”. More than 1 crate or items larger than a crate will incur a disposal fee of $13 per additional crate or crate-size for larger items.
Please feel free to email or call us with any questions regarding our BYOS policy prior to bringing in your own smashables.
At the Breakthrough Smash Room, the safety of our guests and employees is our top priority.
We use disposable gloves under our sanitized heavy duty cut resistance gloves for an extra layer of protection. I hope this helps, if there’s anything else we can answer please let us know and we hope to see you soon!
